AIA Idaho invites all licensed Idaho Architects to submit recently completed works for review by a jury composed of a distinguished group of Architects.
Awards are an expression of recognition for superior performance, but they are also an important educational tool. These awards give us a chance to focus our attention on Idaho’s broad range of Architectural activity. By highlighting exemplary Architectural work from the diverse regions of the state, we hope to inform and elevate the general quality of Architectural practice and establish a standard of excellence against which all Architects can measure their performance. In addition, these awards will help provide for us a forum for addressing a public audience, giving concrete examples of design excellence and thereby increasing awareness of the benefits of good Architectural design.
The projects submitted must meet the following criteria for eligibility:
§ All entries must be built projects in the state of Idaho completed from 2000 to present.
§ All projects must be designed by an Architect licensed in the state of Idaho.
§ The Architect or Architectural firm must reside and practice in the state of Idaho
§ All “Joint Venture” or “In Association” submissions are eligible to Architects or Architectural Firms where by both or all firms practice and reside within the state of Idaho regardless of which firm acted as or performed the majority of the Primary Design. Credit should be given to those firms that act as the Lead Designer. All other “Joint Ventures or “In Associations” projects by which an out of state firm acts as the Primary Designer or is the Design Architect are not eligible for submission.
§ Projects previously honored by an award in this program are not eligible for entry.
